NATIONAL SKILL QUALIFICATION FRAME WORK (NSQF)

         The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has framed a National Skill Qualification Frame Work (NSQF) which provides multiple pathways both within Vocational Education System and between General Education and Vocational Education System, which enable the learners to progress to a higher level in their respective profession. The NSQF is a boon to a highly skilled person to qualify and elevate to a higher level in the professional ladder. In short, NSQF gives credit and recognition to the highly skilled personnel and encourages them to contribute with a sense of human dignity and worth to the economic development of the country, in the context of Make in India and Digital India policies announced by the Central Govt. At present under this scheme, 6 Polytechnic Colleges offer 11 vocational courses in association with industries, approved by the AICTE in the name and style as SKILL KNOWLEDGE PROVIDERS(SKPs).
